We stayed at Park MGM Las Vegas, which features an impeccably stylish pool complex that has 3 swimming pools. The striped mint and white daybeds and lounge chairs are the perfect spot to relax and get sun-kissed. If you’re looking for a little more privacy, you can also reserve a cabana in advance here.
Near the pools, you can find two bars along with poolside service to enjoy some refreshing cocktails whipped up by the bartenders. As well, you can step up your pool game with accessories to make your pool day more enjoyable, like floaties, towels, and chairs.
Go To A Pool Party
Speaking of pools, during the summer months, MGM Grand hosts some of the most popular pool parties in Las Vegas. Featuring top DJ performances and celebrity guests, we guarantee you’ll have the best time ever.

Chez Bippy is a hidden speakeasy at MGM Grand that offers a unique and intimate atmosphere. The bar is known for its delicious cocktails, which are made using quality ingredients. To enter, you have to find a secret door, and once you do, you’re greeted with vintage decor and chill music.
Enjoy The Happy Hour In Orla
Orla, located at the Mandalay Bay location is a well-known Mediterranean bar with a vibrant happy hour. During this time, you can enjoy discounted cocktails, such as the Santorini Spritz and enjoy some tasty small bites like the Tuna Falafel and Crispy Halloumi.
We enjoyed happy hour so much, that we had to order more from the dinner menu. The Greek, was a delicious salad with the freshest ingredients, and I am still dreaming as a write this about The Harissa Grilled Lamb Chops.
If you don’t drink alcohol, it’s not a problem at all! Just ask one of the expert bartenders to make you a delicious mocktail!
Play Arcade Games At Level Up
If you’re looking for one of the other unique things to do at MGM Las Vegas properties for fun, I highly recommend you go to Level Up, the modern arcade that will make your trip even more fun.
This place combines classic arcade games with modern technology, featuring well-known games such as Pac-Man and cutting-edge VR experiences. There’s also a bar where you can have drinks and light bites, making it a great spot for all ages.
Dine At The Restaurants
There is an endless selection of delicious restaurants at the MGM Hotels, with different styles and cuisines. Below you can find my selection of the best places to have dinner and brunch, our two favorite moments of the day:
For dinner
- La Noodle: Located at Park MGM, this Asian-inspired restaurant offers a variety of noodle dishes, dim sum, and similar. With a casual and stylish setting, it became my go-to place to enjoy a relaxed dinner. We were in luck the night we dined here, as the head chef was there, and gave us the VIP treatment, he tailored a menu to our favorites!
- Morimoto: at the MGM Grand you can enjoy a unique fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine, brought to you by Masaharu Morimoto, featuring sushi, sashimi, and other innovative dishes.
- NoMad Library: This is one of those places you must visit at the Park MGM if you love classic American dishes. And let me tell you about the stunning library setting, which is incredible, and ideal for taking pictures! Don’t skip out on the side of Truffle Baked Potato.
For brunch
- Primrose: Located at the Park MGM, this place offers a French-inspired brunch with options ranging from classic omelets and avocado toast to strong dishes like steak and eggs.
Spend A Day At The Spa
If you’re like us at all, you love relaxing during small trips, and spending a day at the spa might be one of my favorite activities to do here. So since we are all about the rewards we headed over to another MGM property for our spa treatment.
Mandalay Bay Spa offers a wide range of treatments, such as massages, facials, and body wraps. There are also steam rooms, saunas, and relaxation lounges to make your stay even more relaxing.
We enjoyed a lovely couple’s massage.

Go Dancing At Hakkasan
You can’t leave Las Vegas without spending a night out dancing with that special someone, friends, or by yourself, which is why this section is all about Hakkasan, the famous nightclub at the MGM Grand.
With a lively atmosphere and multiple levels, you can enjoy exclusive DJ performances, relax in the lounge area, or eat at their restaurant, all in the same place.
Have Cocktails In Mama Rabbit During Latin Night
Mama Rabbit is a vibrant bar located at Park MGM known for its energetic Latin music and atmosphere. It’s a great place to enjoy delicious cocktails and dance the night away. During their famous Latin Nights, I assure you you’ll dance till your feet hurt, and have the time of your life!
See A Cirque du Soleil Show
Cirque du Soleil shows are fascinating, and conveniently, NYNY Hotel & Casino another MGM property, conveniently located across from the Park MGM, is home to their famous presentation “Mad Apple”.
This former New Yorker loved the performance, with a mix of comedy, acrobatics, audience interactions, and magic, you are guaranteed a great night.
Watch A Magic Show
What better way to add some real magic to your night than by watching a world-class magic show? MGM Grand hosts various magic shows that blend illusion, and humor, creating an entertaining experience for all ages.
