Poinsettia Punch

Poinsettia punch gin cocktail recipes
  • Poinsettia (all to taste)
  • 1 oz Cranberry simple syrup
  • 1.5 oz Empress Gin 1908
  • Squeeze of lemon
  • 3/4 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Filtered water

First, begin by preparing the cranberry simple syrup by following the recipe mentioned in the Cranberry Bourbon Sour recipe above. This gin cocktail recipe is perfect to sip on during the fall season. 

In a shaker add all ingredients and shake well. Once shaken pour into a glass. 

Basil Cocktail Smash

Basil Cocktail Smash
  • 12-14 Fresh basil leaves
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz Empress Gin 1908

To make this summer and spring cocktail muddle basil leaves in a cocktail shaker. Add remaining ingredients and shake well with ice. Use a strainer to pour in the glass. Serve over ice. 

One Love

One Love cocktail with gin recipe
  • 1/2 oz Empress Gin 1908
  • 7-10 Basil leaves
  • 1/2 oz Honey syrup
  •  3/4 oz Fresh lime juice 
  • 1 tsp Orange blossom water
  • Top with sparkling Rosé
  • Edible flowers and fresh basil sprigs

In a cocktail shaker add gin, honey syrup, lime juice, orange blossom water, and basil. Muddle all ingredients together until oil is released from basil leaves. Shake with ice then stain in champagne flute and top with sparking rose. Garnish with edible flowers and fresh basil sprigs. 

She’s Royal

She’s Royal cocktail with gin recipe
  • 1.5 oz Empress Gin 1908
  • .75 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz Simple syrup
  • 7-10 Basil leaves
  • Top with sparkling wine
  • Lemon  twist
  • Fresh basil

Add gin, lemon juice, basil, and simple syrup ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Muddle all ingredients together. Add ice and shake. Strain into a chilled flute, top with sparkling wine, and garnish with a lemon twist and basil leaf. 

Natural Mystic 

Natural Mystic cocktail
  • 2 oz Empress Gin 1908
  • 5-7 Mint leaves
  • 7-10 Basil leaves,
  • 1 Slice of cucumber
  • Sparkling water to taste
  • Cucumber stick garnish
  • Mint and basil leaf 

Muddle together mint, basil, and cucumber in a cocktail shaker. Add gin and shake well. Strain into a glass and top with sparkling water. Garnish with a cucumber stick, mint leaf, and basil leaf. 

Basil Gimlet

Basil Gimlet gin cocktail recipe
  • 7-10 Basil leaves
  • 2 oz Empress 1908 Cucumber Lemon Gin
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple syrup

Add basil, simple syrup, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker. Muddle the basil leaves. Add gin and ice then shake. Use the strainer to pour into a glass. Top with basil. 

Gin Spritz

  • 2 oz Empress Gin 1908 
  • A squeeze of a lemon
  • 5-7 Mint sprigs
  • 7-10 Basil leaves
  • Soda water

Add lemon squeeze, mint, and basil ingredients to a cocktail shaker and muddle together. Add gin and shake well.  Pour in a class shaken and top with soda water and garnish with lemon and mint
